To understand why Beth and I are so passionate about our business and why we take so much pride and effort in every cleaning job, it helps to know how our company began so many years ago.

Working for my father’s successful North Shore carpet & upholstery cleaning company, I had the opportunity to learn first-hand the science of carpet and upholstery cleaning, to become an expert in the industry, and to excel in the cleaning of fine fabrics like upholstery and oriental rugs. Above that, this was the time I truly began to love cleaning without even knowing it.

After college, I went to work at AT&T running a project management team designing software. Throughout those five years of my life I kept being drawn back to carpet cleaning, often helping my Dad’s company on the weekends and even cleaning on my time off from work.

It was in the Colorado mountains when Beth and I had the realization that we should be doing not only what we are good at but what we love to do! K&B Dream Klean was dreamt up in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. Upon returning to Chicagoland we founded K&B Dream Klean with one goal in mind: to be the best carpet cleaning company in all aspects. This includes utilizing the best truck-mounted equipment in the industry, environmentally friendly products, and experienced, courteous, on-time service.

A lot of things have changed since I first began cleaning all those years ago. Equipment has become more powerful and efficient, the cleaning agents have become more environmentally friendly and effective, and the cleaning techniques have also changed; but the one thing that has not changed is my commitment to my craft and dedication to being the best and offering the best service. This has become our passion and what we truly love to do. It shows in the work we do.

We are a small, family-owned, family operated company with a total of 75 years combined cleaning experience. We have the skill, knowledge, and experience to create a cleaner environment in your home for your family by making your carpets and upholstery look and feel their freshest, cleanest, and healthiest.

2010 Update:

We want to thank our loyal customers for making us successful beyond our expectations! We have no intentions to expand our company beyond our family. We believe by doing this we keep quality and workmanship high as well as allowing our customers to gain confidence in us by knowing who is going to be cleaning in their home. The only small obstacle in remaining a small company is we are busy! However, we almost are always are able to schedule new and returning customers within a week’s notice and same day scheduling for emergencies.

For all new customers, we ask if you call our office, please don’t hang up if you get our answering machine; we assure you we will call you back the same day. We also offer on-line scheduling and will always respond to email appointment requests within 24 hours.
